I so appreciate the work you must be putting into producing this- it must be so difficult. Thank you!

For the last several years, I have noticed that Covid wastewater numbers go up after the two week state fair period in NC, which just ended last week. It would be interesting to see if that could be confirmed scientifically.

No Oregon? What is Oregon up to? (I'm assuming no data for Oregon or something similar)

I caught COVID Oct 9 in South Carolina. My wife caught it from me by Oct. 11. Both tested positive by rapid Binax now test. Symptoms were very mild - mild flu-like for a few days, cough and fatigue for a few more. We are both vaccinated and fully boosted, having taken every booster a 65+ person was eligible for. We both tested negative after 12-14 days, although our symptoms abated by day 8-9. How do you account for all the mild cases that never reach a health practitioner or ER?

My understanding is that wastewater helps account for unreported illnesses.

My husband and i got our first COVID infection mid September. Ours was also quite mild, after getting all the vaccinations we could, with our last in September 2024. We were scheduled for the next on Oct 3. Sigh.

My husband tested negative by day ten, but I took 19 days to test negative. We're early 60s with qualifying medical problems.

That makes sense.

Our first COVID infection too … early 70s in otherwise good health.
