Still on covid watch, multiple important food recalls, summer colds circulating
Respiratory Diseases
Influenza-like illness
Influenza-like illness (ILI) is quiet across all indicators. ILI held steady at 1.9% of outpatient visits and activity is minimal or low in every state. Activity will likely remain low through the summer months and into the early autumn.
Outpatient visits for ILI remains low and stable for each age group. The smallest children, those aged 0 to 4, as usual, have the highest rate of trips to the doctor for influenza-like illness (6.2%).
Wastewater activity is very low, as are emergency department visits. Hospitalizations are stable and very low (0.5 hospitalizations per 100,000 people).
COVID-19
Current activity is low, as measured by wastewater activity, trips to the ED, and test positivity.
