Yes, it's the Trump administration's tactic, to manufacture a crisis and use it as an excuse to dismantle existing policy. The more the public distrusts expertise, the more they are prone to believe lies.

Would it be feasible for the vaccine committee to meet and issue their public recommendations, just not under the banner of the CDC? It would be an independent voice for the public and might encourage health insurance companies to provide coverage.

I’ve seen these “childhood“ deseases kill thru working as a nurse on acute contagious ward in a city hospital before penicillin etc. That is in-humane n taking us backwards!!! The stories I could tell!

“Each of these moves, from the ACIP dismissals, to the Covid vaccine walk-backs, to the FDA policy shifts, is following the same playbook. Question the existing expertise, cite questionable evidence, then dismantle..”
