I'm curious if you have any thoughts on timing if Covid vaccines ? Does it make sense to get that last booster if folks haven't yet or wait for a new vaccine in ... Aiugust? September? Thanks!

It's a good question. I don't have a clear answer. I'll try to write a post with the different considerations.

Thanks - that woud be great. I had checked with my pharmacist since I had not had a chance to get that last booster and his assistant said they were expecting a new vaccine in August-ish so a booster now would mean I could not get the new one on time. Understand you can't provide medical advice but curious what the news is iabout a new vax. And thank you so much.

I haven’t seen an uptick in Tucson but, then again, I spend most my time away from other people. Then is a definite down tick in wearing masks. I get strange looks sometimes even in places like Trader Joe’s.

Did you stand on that spot in that large square where Mozart’s bones exist--they are not at rest? Could you hear the dark chords of “The Requiem”? If so, that may be the source of your infection.

Ok, your infection is nothing to make fun about, just feeling the anguished spirit of Mozart.

Missed that one, I think! It was quite rainy when we were there and we ate indoors a few times. Plus, wore KN95s vs N95s -- so guessing that it@

If the Mozart theory has any possibility of being correct; a good treatment is watching some YouTube posts of Ode to Joy. To your health.

Here in the Portland metro, my wife and I are seeing a lot more people wearing masks. The most I can recall since 2022..

Wish we would learn and that the funding for surveillance would come back. John’s Hopkins was great as well TMC in Houston. Question, scientifically what constitutes a crowded place in regard to COVID?
