Thanks for the great report. We are having an unprecedented number of cases of pneumonia in children, since May/June and through the summer. Of the few that failed outpatient management, there was no consistency in the RVP pathogens- all neg, to rhino/entero, to mycoplasma (there is a high prevalence of mycoplasma right now being reported). These cases are often radiographicqlly documented. What’s going on? I have never, even in a brisk flu season, had so many cases?! It’s very atypical!!
